Start a Home Based Business TODAY-No skills needed-No $$ Needed
Logo Design is a A GREAT SIMPLE SMALL BUSINESS you can start today – Even if you don’t have any graphic design capabilities?
Not a problem. Meet my favorite online company, Logo Nerds. I freaking love this company and the work that they do. They make absolutely beautiful logos, social media headers, flyers, brochures, and postcards. Their work is absolutely the best. I do not use anyone else…period!
Start A Logo Design Business
So, how do you make a business doing logo design without any skills. Because of the pricing structure provided by Logo Nerds you can afford to have a generous mark up without pricing yourself out of business. It has been my finding that most clients interested in small business branding and needing a logo will pay upwards of $100+. Some are willing to pay considerably more.
Below are some Examples of client logos that I had created. The first one was for a client that is a Dodger’s fan and she wanted her logo to be Dodger blue. The other is a sample sheet of logos that Logo Nerds provided me for my client. She was starting a special needs camp.
I simply advertise my service for logo design online (Facebook, Craigslist, Google) and clients will contact me and want a quote. I will give them an immediate quote on the phone based on the pricing structure that Logo Nerds advertises. The package that I always use from Logo Nerds is the “Professional Business Logo Package” for $47. I easily sell this service for $75 or more and I really don’t have to do anything other than communicate with the client. The client never knows that I am using a 3rd party to do the work. I am not trying to deceive the client-they just don’t normally ask. The way I see it, Logo Nerds is my company. They do the graphics work and I do the selling.
Why do I like the Professional Business Logo Package? One main reason is that they offer 6 different options. That is something the client asks all of the time, “Can you provide me some different examples?” The Turn around time is great too. I usually tell the client to allow me 10-14 days, but Logo Nerds has an average turn around time of 5-7 (sometimes it was a little longer). The image to the right lists some of the other benefits.
The free revisions option is very important. Many times the client will like the logo but will want it to be slightly different. I have gone back and forth with the client and logo nerds sometimes 3-4 times until the client was satisfied. See, that is an important selling point for me…I offer “Satisfaction Guaranteed”. This provides a level of comfort for the client.

Happily married, father of six, living in Mobile, Alabama. I build websites because I enjoy doing it, I enjoy being able to help small businesses, and I like the challenge. Contrary to popular belief, I am not getting wealthy from this. I do this business as a hobby, as a service, and to make a little bit of golf money.
I am a certified teacher, project manager, training manager, technology instructor, husband, father, brother, friend, a Baptist deacon, and most importantly--a Christian.
